Strap in. This will be a slightly extended read. CBF, listen here.
The morning of turning 30 - The 24th of November.
Walking over into a cold plunge - I don’t usually do this.
Making breakfast and eating without my phone - I haven’t eaten breakfast in months.
Shower without checking my emails - Where’s my phone?
Towel dry, comb, Gatsby & too much hairspray my hair - Why am I still using Gatsby?
Write an RKDSundays for my 30th. - Why don’t I write these every week again?
Thirty.
If you’re younger than me - I’m old.
Older than me - These are my best years.
For Me - It’s pretty scary.
This newsletter - Just a reflection.
RKDSundays Edition I, II, III.
Although a random newsletter since 2018, it has provided a fantastic reflection opportunity, a time capsule of knowledge, and business opportunity.
Where to from now? - Personalising it - Taking it offline.
Many Financial Advisers write books - they make me sick.
I’ve been writing short stories and anecdotes about my journey, experiences and even a killer bagel / red sauce recipe in different notebooks throughout the last ten years.
I’d love to work towards crafting a coffee table edition of the above that many can enjoy without feeling the need to DO MORE NOW, NOT BUY THAT COFFEE or “INVEST IN THE HOSTPLUS BALANCED INDEX, AS IT’S THE BEST FUND….”
Someone with influence and responsibility - should act responsibly.
I’d love to use this newsletter to write and create whatever I want; however, I’m unable to do this freely and expressively without limits publically.
Think of RKDSundays as a roadmap towards that coffee table book.
An unedited, uncensored and open-reflection of personal, business and life experiences, past and present.
